Most of our courses are self-paced, meaning you can start at any time and progress through the material at your own speed. With self-paced courses:
- All course materials are available immediately upon enrollment
- You can study according to your own schedule
- There are no deadlines for completing lessons or assignments (unless specified)
- You have lifetime access to the course content after enrollment
We also offer some cohort-based courses that follow a specific schedule. These courses:
- Have specific start and end dates
- Include weekly deadlines for assignments
- Often feature live sessions and direct instructor interaction
- Provide opportunities to learn alongside a community of peers
The course description will clearly indicate whether a course is self-paced or follows a schedule.
For most courses, you receive lifetime access to the course content after enrollment. This means you can:
- Return to the material as often as you like
- Review concepts at your own pace
- Access any course updates or improvements we make over time
Some specialized programs or subscription-based courses may have limited access periods, which will be clearly stated on the course details page before enrollment.
Please note that "lifetime access" refers to the lifetime of the course on our platform. In the rare event that we need to retire a course due to outdated content or other reasons, we provide at least 30 days' notice to enrolled students.
Our courses incorporate various assessment types to reinforce learning and check comprehension:
- Quizzes: Multiple-choice, true/false, and matching questions to test knowledge
- Practice Exercises: Hands-on activities to apply concepts (especially in technical courses)
- Projects: Larger assignments that demonstrate application of multiple skills
- Peer Reviews: Opportunities to give and receive feedback from fellow learners
- Discussion Prompts: Guided discussions to explore topics more deeply
- Final Assessments: Comprehensive exams or capstone projects to demonstrate mastery
The specific types of assessments vary by course and are designed to be appropriate for the subject matter. Technical courses like programming often include coding exercises, while business courses might feature case studies or scenario-based assessments.
